Colorado Excel Club Spring Campout Has Begun.

Finger Food Friday is the way the Colorado club kicks off the rally.
Hope no one ate before them came….. We had a TON of food. Including Birthday cake for George, and homemade ice cream made by Tommy.

After we ate we had introductions. It’s so great to see everyone and start the rally on such a fun note.

Colorado City Campout

What a beautiful morning!

Woke up early to find a bumpy frost on the picnic table. Not sure if the bumps were trying to be snow, but whatever it is, wont last for long. The sun is shinning and the birds are singing. We are looking forward to a great day with friends.

New Mexico Excel Spring 2010 Rally

It’s over and it was a great time!

There were activities for everyone to enjoy. A pet parade, wine tasting at local wineries, a wonderful catered dinner that included raffle prizes and awards, ice cream social, hot tub, and a fireplace on the veranda, perfect for story telling and fellowship. But as always, the best part was just spending time with friends reconnecting and making new memories. The weather got off to a cool, windy start, but ending with sun and heat. Thanks to Hacienda RV Resort for the wonderful facilities and making us feel at home.

The highlight of the weekend was the Pet Parade.

The Oasis in Moriarty

Our service/repair/overnight area... which we fondly refer to as "The Oasis" was full last week. We had a great group out there, some in for service, some in to help us with the open house, and some that were in for service that we put to work with the open house.
States that were represented were, NM, CO, VT and TX.
And our one pretty little tree was in bloom.

April 16 open house

Today was the first day of our two day open house. The weather held out and it was a beautiful (chilly) day!
We had three seminars: En-Joy Rving, New Mexico State Parks, and Traveling to Alaska. Our classes are always informative and FUN!
We also served a yummy lunch of hot dogs, salad and a baked potato bar. Thanks to Mac for his help on the grill, and all the ladies that helped in the kitchen.
This was also the first day to register to win the Yamaha generator. Best of luck to all that entered.

Special order computer desk

Tom and Donna came to RV Sales this week to have the special ordered computer desk installed in their rig. Tom and Donna are full timers and found that the dinette just wasn’t meeting their needs. The computer desk has a flip up table that will seat four when needed, but gives them more useful space when a table isn’t needed. Perhaps Tom or Donna will chime in and give us more feed back on how it’s working form them.?.?

Their rig us beautiful and this desk looks GREAT in it.
As always we love when Tom and Donna come to see us, and we can’t wait for them to come again! We wish them safe travels and hope their summer in the Northwest is wonderful.
